Can a radar to detect the speed of an agent when the agent immediately before the object? Views directly in front (even before) to an object in the direction of your trip?

Radar can detect speeds that are
Opposite direction front and rear
Same direction front and rear

While stationary or moving

Some radar units have two antennas, one facing front and the other facing rear. The officer selects which antenna to use, and then selects if he wants to clock a vehicle going in the same, or opposite direction. The radar unit first determines the officer’s patrol speed, and then can calculate the speed of the target vehicle. It is accurate to plus or minus 1 mile per hour.

There are front-facing and rear-facing radar units. So, yes.
