Can going to traffic school from a speeding ticket prevent it from going on your insurance?

I received a speeding ticket this morning. I was wondering if I am able to go to driving school will it prevent the ticket from going on my insurance?
Ok so since it wont prevent it, wil traffic school reduce my insurance a little so the ticket dosen’t affect it as much?

Prevent? No. There will be a notation that you went to traffic school on your record. BUT, most insurance companies don’t look at this section. So, if you have a choice, go to traffic school!

yes you will be given that option .. for your ticket
but remember you can only go once a 365 day period
if you get another one it could then appear on your record

In some states, yes. In other states, no. In my home state, traffic school is for points only, the conviction still shows on your record.

You should identify where you are from for an accurate answer, or call the court clerk.

normally you’re given options depending on schemes running:
1) small fine and points on your licence.
2) Big fine, no points
3) 1 day driver safety course

i guess you would only need to declare the points on your license as it’s a road traffic offence and not a criminal offence.

I think you are right, but you need to bargain it down to a parking ticket.
I got an inspection expiration ticket recently and they brought it down to a parking ticket. I asked the judge to waive the fine because I was unemployed and I have expenses for my disabled son at home. He didn’t like that at all so he doubled the fine instead.
nice huh? I shouldn’t have asked.

No, it won’t help your insurance.
