There is a brown truck in my town just outside Edmonton that hang out just on a turn off. It has tinted back windows and I seen a guy sitting in the back with one of the back windows rolled down holding a camera with a really long lens that points in the direction with traffic(just like photo radar). BUT my radar detector doesn’t go off. How is that possible?

If its a really long lens then he’s just taking photos, it probably has nothing to do with radar.
Yes its very possible with the new technology these camera companies are using.
I suggest you send in your 9500i to escort to get an upgrade to the 9500xi. The xi when you load the database will give you alerts when you are approaching these cameras
well u might not have the band tht they do and plus he’s probaly take a pic of ur lisence plate to send the speeder the ticket but they need to know how fast u were going but if u radar detector didnt go off u probally dont have tht bands. srry thts all i can think of of the top of my head.
