basically, that’s stupid. Most of the new stuff doesn’t work that way any way. Additionally, a judge would read that as “disengenous” and he would probably throw the book at you.

Best thing is, and if your driving record ain’t too bad before, tell the judge you slipped up and let your speed out of control, as him if you can go to traffic school instead of the ticket.

By the way, best way to avoid a speeding ticket is to drive within the speed limit. Also it’s the best way to avoid most accidents, thereby keeping you healthyier, wealthier, and wiser.

they have a spin for this question you need to know the manufacture of thr rader the training requirements for this unit and is the operator quilfied and so on finaly the credibility of the officer issue you cant win with out a good attorney fina a web site that deals with truckers and find a traffic attorney there

They are actually done sooner than that. If you were speeding but are looking for a loophole just pay the ticket or go to traffic school because your theory isn’t going to work in your favor.

the radar guns are calibrated every six months and tested every day before use and all of this is kept in a log book

your best bet is to plea no contest to the ticket pay the fine and have the judge remove the points and maybe have to do some type of driving school but that’s only going to happen if your driving record is not that bad

No answer to that question will help your cause … seriously! That question could only be answered by the officer that ticketed you! They are calibrated by a manufacturer trained technician at least once per year, the unit is checked for accuracy at least once per shift, by the officer assigned to the unit.

If points are a problem in your case … the yellow pages are full of lawyers that specialize in vehicle and traffic cases … hire one!

If you are not in trouble with points … what’s the problem? Take the hit, pay the fine … and if you want to, take “speeders school” to help cancel the points! Dang near everyone has a speeding ticket in their past (I got ONE … in 1982! Didn’t care for the thought of giving my money to the government … been minding my manners since!). Only YOU know the importance of this ticket to your life … is it worth a fight, or can you get along with this on your record?
