Highway 58 Lacrosse Virginia Speed Trap Part 2

www.Highway58SpeedTrap.com Part 2 of the Lacrosse, Virginia speed trap video where the police officer tickets me erroneously, then proves my point by VERIFYING my cruise control speed with his lasar radar he did not use the first time. I was pulled over by a ‘pacing’ claim, in the dark, from behind over 1 mile, all within a 1/2 mile of the starting point.

More power to you, buddy!

He is a rear good guy cop. many of my friends are cops & sheriff’s & they do more illegal acts than any of the people they stop. I am glad you could get out of it. & keep up the good work.

@BeachBoysGuy1 Also wasting the driver’s time. I would of just done the video, go to court, and show the evidence, then walk away with no ticket. Of course other people are more flexible with their time, I guess.

The video shows you going 52-53 mph on cruise and he stated that the gun has you going 52 mph. You state that you have the cruise set a 50 but you actually have it set at 52-53.

Most cops are really not that “gracious”

saultube44 May 17, 2010 at 5:59 pm

Your passive aggressive behavior is really cynic and is not justified just because you’re right; pretending having a small talk when all you wanted is for him to admit he made a mistake, subtle and effective but really fake. If you wanted to prove him wrong why not do it in a straightforward way, why the pretenses; this world is cynic enough IMO, shouldn’t we try to make it better?

It’s nice to see a happy ending for those who do obey the law. There are enough scum bags out there shooting up the streets endangering the lives of innocent citizens who require the need of our hard working police. The police need to focus on crime, and get to the scene of crime within a reasonable amount of time after that ’911′ call is placed in these local towns. Instead they are on their radar units stacking up their end of month road assault. Nice!

Seriously, the cop only played nice because he knew he was being video taped and he couldn’t bend your will. All that excess chit chat was simply a waste of time with this pathetic excuse for law enforcement. Kudos to you for beating the ticket.

This is what makes this country such a wonderful place to live, law-abiding citizens and friendly cops.
God bless the USA!

@Japcat21 That’s right. this is so egotistical on the part of the driver. All this blabbering back and forth was wasting the officer’s time !

stimpymedic May 17, 2010 at 7:37 pm

Both were respectfull to each other. I think the officer handled the situation like a pro.

what a nice cop , not like the assholes in Miami lol, and yes not ALL are asses but mostly the white cops hustling the blacks and latinos LOL. Every time a white cops stops me he is so rude and when a latino cop does, he is all normal not being rude just following procedure. Man I sound like I’ve had 20 tickets, but no LOL

4:25 Driver admits that he “sets it at 65″. How about that slip-up.

1RODDYPIPER May 17, 2010 at 11:44 pm

I’ll tell you what….that was a decent cop most of them wouldn’t have even bothered to talk to the guy never mind check his speed on radar for him.
Congrats on beating the ticket.

Japcat21 May 18, 2010 at 12:02 am

I’m glad you fought back against the ticket, but arguing against a cop, that’s just a big negative. You should of just argued in a court of law instead of facing that cop again. This cop seems nicer than a lot of cops out there; you might have gotten a real scumbag that would put you in jail if you argued against him. Just my observation.

Allaahhhh May 18, 2010 at 12:52 am

something I have know and always done is go to court and plead not guilty, they just aint used to somebody politely saying they or the mickey mouse equipment (operator error) not workng properly. Now if they record you falling down drunk, your outta luck……………………………… John Broadwell

Bruinboi16 May 18, 2010 at 12:59 am

Camera FAIL. it’d be funny if you showed this in court and it went against you because you failed to use proper turn signals when merging back onto the main road and they gave you a ticket XD
