Highway 58 Speed Trap Lacrosse VA, Police Abuse of Power On Out of State Tags & Motorists?

www.Highway58SpeedTrap.com Shocking video of the notorious Lacrosse, Virginia speed trap just off interstate I-85. My out of state tags have been pointed out to me as a probable reason I was unjustly pulled over, on a cops ‘word’ that he had ‘paced’ me doing 64 miles per hour in a 50 mph zone, all within a 1 mile stretch, where he began the event, over 1/4 mile behind me. Watch this video of highway 58 in Lacrosse, Virginia, where the officer obviously could NOT have ‘paced’ me just based on the distance alone, much less the very damning video on the home page of our site, where his radar (or lidar) gun actually dispoves his ‘theory’ that my cruise control was ‘acting’ up. What a crock of BS this traffic stop was, on highway 58 in Lacrosse, Virginia. How many other motorists (with out of state tags, that probably make the chance of them driving back to fight this BS in court slimmer, statistically) have been pulled over for speeding based on a cops ‘word’ ? I will bet, monetarily, that number will prove to be HUGE revenue for this speed trap community of Lacrosse, Virginia. This abuse of police traffic stops is rampant from what I hear on highway 58, and Lacrosse Virginia is notorious for this type of motorist treatment, based on folks I’ve spoken to. The fact any police officer can claim this ‘pacing’ a motorist, while their speed ‘gun’ sits on the seat next to them, so that the court visit becomes your word against theirs, is so far out of my ability to comprehend the

Highway58SpeedTrap Man, Disregard the braindead, mindcontrolled, sheeple that are criticizing you for standing up for your rights. They resent that you believe in freedom.

I think this is brilliant, great job man. I’m happy to hear the charges were dropped, and even they hadn’t prior to the court date, the fact that you were going 2 over the limit and recorded all of that, they easily would have dropped the charges either way. Props!

Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth.

barcodeone May 17, 2010 at 2:55 am

@Sublimize23
I’d say something about you, but Sarah Palin wouldn’t like it. Why don’t you haul your “smart” butt to a country more your style–say North Korea?

Highwaycrazy May 17, 2010 at 4:06 am

You don’t use km/h speed limits?

Sublimize23 May 17, 2010 at 4:11 am

So getting a reading on radar higher than the posted speed limit, twice is not your fault? I think I’m missing something here. Let me give you a little spoiler alert for your court date: The judge is not going to believe that you “had the cruise control set for 50.” He is going to side with the physical evidence of your vehicle traveling on radar faster than the posted speed limit, while you were operating it. I cannot believe there are people as stupid as you are still kicking today.

HighWay58speedTrap May 17, 2010 at 4:16 am

u must live in a different country than me.
when i’m accused of something i did not do, i don’t just agree and go quietly into the night…
court is not until 22 mar, 2010.
i’m sure the judge, mayor and cops in this town have all been a mile or two over the speed limit today.
you, too.
pay a fine and agree to this nonsense?
wrong answer…

Sublimize23 May 17, 2010 at 4:43 am

@HighWay58speedTrap Dog. It’s obvious that your cruise control’s “50mph” is wrong. Your car, while you were driving it, exceeded the speed limit. I’m not really sure how that doesn’t count as speeding. It doesn’t help you’re being a huge bitch about probably a $100 fine. What did the judge say in court?

rocketsoccer1 May 17, 2010 at 5:15 am

this is interesting. but i live in california. so idk why im watching this.

HighWay58speedTrap May 17, 2010 at 6:00 am

pay for something i did not do?
makes ZERO sense, hence the website and videos…
right is right, and wrong is wrong, badge or not, sublimize23

HighWay58speedTrap May 17, 2010 at 6:41 am

no, I was not speeding, the sped limit was 50, and my cruise was set to 50.
The NASA scientist refutes the stop as ‘impossible’ based on her math and physics analysis, as seen on our main site

HighWay58speedTrap May 17, 2010 at 7:29 am

you must not be familiar with a flipcam?
super small, and one touch recording, and in the case of this ‘traffic ticket’, invaluable to actually have available.

vision1diecast May 17, 2010 at 7:37 am

Im not sure operating the camcorder while you were driving shows particularly good judgement on your part.

mrsswilkins09 May 17, 2010 at 7:53 am

you are exactly right– people are pulled over numberous times in that exact town. they target out of towners– the town makes money off of these exact people that dont fight it or know how to fight it — in fact they had a article in the paper awhile back about the local business complaining about the police bothering the customers because they were pulling so many people over in there parking lots and disturbing their business –look into that it was in the Enterprise Paper

sumofnone3 May 17, 2010 at 8:50 am

I’m confused…..so were you speeding or not? Also distance dosen’t mean a thing in court. You have no proof to back up your story. Can you get the dash cam video from the police dept. of your traffic stop?

Sublimize23 May 17, 2010 at 9:43 am

Didn’t see you actually took the time to make a website. Man up and pay the fine, quit speeding.

Sublimize23 May 17, 2010 at 10:25 am
