I was in Houston and I saw a cop actually hold out his speed detector and my machine couldnt detect it. However, before reaching Houston, it detected a ton. My detector has VG-2 cloaking ability. Whats wrong?

he was using a technique where he only shoots you when he sees you so you cant dodge the radar most likely have seen it done alot. he knows alot of people have radar detectors and they find ways around it. its up to you to keep up. its like a game. or your radar is already outdated.
there are different detectors and different radar they may have one with a different pulse radar detectors are not invincible try cleaning the front of it and you may want to mount it in a different spot or just quit speeding and then you won’t need it . Have a nice day
