UHP (Utah Highway Patrol) tasers man in front of pregnant wife and baby over an alleged speeding ticket. Outraged? Call the Vernal, Utah UHP Office and let them know! Well there you have it. UHP protects its own. They just ruled that Officer Gardner acted “reasonably”. What a joke. Let them know how you feel! lying ass punk you didnt give him the warning of being tasered sick of fuckin peaces of shit cops like you once i’m one i wont tolerate this kind of abuse of power he wasnt a threat. Hope your ass got sued
Damn this made me lulz. So do all the comments.
We need cops but we don’t need powerhungry facsist dickheads like this one.
this copy you are watching had to be unscrambled because when they requested the tape the tape they got was scrambled up
He sued the police and won
@VanishingWish fortunately, since this is america, the police offer was most likely fired by his CO and sued for every penny he had by the victim.
This cop should be electricuted to death.
Again, another example of pigs in most countries judt being retarded scumbags. Liars too, due to directly lying to the other cop when he arrived. Hopefully this worthless cunt gets killed in a drive-by or something. Have to laugh when you hear about this kind of scum getting murdered on the news.
The cop did him a favor by tasering him. Ask any other cops, and some would have shot him when he walked away while putting his hands in his pockets. Could’ve had some sort of weapon stashed in there. That’s why the officer told him to turn around and put his hands behind his back. Not just because it’s easy to cuff, but because he can easily see them and puts them out of range of the pockets. Just because you have a pregnant wife and kid doesn’t exempt anyone from being dangerous.
He is going where he should be going, Follow direction then go to court!
I hope this driver sues the hell out of the UHP! Exagerated use of “force” for a speeding ticket! Give me a F-=—– break! Concentrate on drug dealers, rapists, criminals, not the husband with a wife and child in the car!
got what he deserved… listen, obey stfu and then get to go home.
I don’t care what type of shit anyone has to say about laws or this or that.. Watch the video again. The guy was clearly NOT in the wrong and was subjected to brutality.
I myself live in Louisiana. I’ve been stopped three times. One for doing 38 in a 35. Once by three K9 units INFRONT of my school on the last day as I was going pick up my report card. Which, supposedly it was a suspicious vehicle.. Which at the time I drove a 93 GMC Sierra which had a drop kit and a bright red paint job.. It

Police Officers From Five States Sue Taser International for Serious Injuries Suffered During Stun Gun Training Classes.
Sure the government has your backs just like it does for the military with uranium depleted bullets.
@weathermanfsu
Taser International Inc.’s shares plummeted Monday, three days after the Scottsdale-based company lost its first lawsuit.
A jury in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ordered Taser on Friday to pay $6.2 million in damages to the family of Robert C. Heston.
Heston, of Salinas, Calif., died Feb. 19, 2005, after being hit multiple times with Taser stun guns by Salinas police office

The lawsuits are numerous; just google. This is just another product that if it goes bad the company goes bankrupt and runs away after the lawsuits are too numerous for liability insurance to cope with.
@Rizky06 They have not proven that yet. Bottom line, the law dictates exactly when you can be tased. If the officers follow that law, you can sue all you want, and the law will protect the officers.
If these lawsuits you claim are out there, were successful, then cops would not be using tasers.
@Glivity Biggest thing to understand, fighting with the cop is not going to change his mind that he is arresting you. The only thing it is going to do is land you a resisting arrest charge. Only time to fight it, is in a court room.
@Glivity The moment you are stopped for any infraction )traffic included), you legally detained. You are required by law at that point to do what the officer tells/asks you to do. Even if you are handcuffed, you are not under arrest until an affadavit is filled out with the reason for your arrest that accompanies you to the jail.
The only thing that is required is giving you your miranda rights. Everything else you will find out at the jail from the paperwork
@weathermanfsu doesnt the cop need to tell the man hes under arrest
@weathermanfsu
Tasers will be shown to cause neurological damage. There are many class action lawsuits filed even by heads of police departments.
@cupcake4206969 Fuck you… Go take a use of force class and learn something for once and stop being so fucking ignorant. He was under arrest and disobeyed an officer by physically walking away, that meets the criteria to be tased in any state. You think you are all big and bad until you are staring down the end of a gun of being tased yourself.
signing does not admit quilt it proves that you got the ticket in your possesion.
@russianmerc There is no ‘hurting cop’s feelings’ law. Police officers are not subject to different laws than the general public. The USA is not a police state. It is part of the reason why the USA is not a piece of garbage, like Russia is.
