I heard if you hang a CD from your rearview mirror, it affects their radar so they cannot read your speed. But I don’t know if it’s true.

In other words, no matter which you’re going (to and from a patrolling officer), what is the minimum and maximum range for a cop to verify how fast you’re going?

So I was driving on the interstate in the south direction. The police was also facing south. He was facing the same direction as the flow of traffic. How is he able to detect speed if he is facing that way. I though most of them faced sideways or opposite.
Also do officers target certain cars. I hear they like to pull over sports cars and the luxury ones like Mercedes. This true?

I got a ticket for doing 70 in a 55. The officer wrote RADAR on the method of speed detection. I never passed this officer, just pulled onto the road about a mile ahead of him. Can Police RADAR’s tell my speed if the officer is following/pacing me? Or did I just find a loophole in the ticket?
