What happens if a police officer puts down the wrong speed on a speeding ticket?

I was driving down a road and got pulled over for speeding.
The police officer gave me a speeding ticket, but wrote down that i was going 30mph in a 30mph zone by mistake.
What will happen?
It is a hand written ticket, in the UK and i was caught by a speed gun he was holding.

Could you? Say like if you were in a college parking lot and the speed limit is 8 mph and you ran faster than that could you a speeding ticket. It might seem like a dumb question but I’m just curious.

I got a speeding ticket for going 32 over the speed limit on the expressway in IL (stupid i realize!) I have a court date, but am wondering about what the rest of my consequences will end up looking like? Fines? Insurance? Any help would be appreciated.
