I Have A Radar/ Laser Detector From Whistler But It Didnt Detect Any Cops Whow Were Monitoring My Speed.why?

I was in Houston and I saw a cop actually hold out his speed detector and my machine couldnt detect it. However, before reaching Houston, it detected a ton. My detector has VG-2 cloaking ability. Whats wrong?
