In some parts of the country is it dangerous not to speed because ur not keeping up with traffic. Usually it’s not more that 5 or 10 mph–If no one speeds it won’t be a problem, but if your the only one not speeding, your gonna hold up traffic and cause road rage. I have seen people get shot over this. Also, everyone speeds once in a while, whether by accident or not. I commute 400 miles several times a year, and I can say that I speed during that commute all the time due to the fact that I’m watching traffic and not the speedometer–I will accidentally go over 65 for the fact that my car is not equipped with cruise control–and no, I cannot afford a car with cruise control. I never speed, and I got a speeding ticket. It happens to everyone. Sometimes the one time u speed, you will get a ticket. Now, if it’s a camera that issues a ticket, how will you know right away? You will not. You will not realize that you need to slow down
The speed limits haven’t changed in 50 years and lets face it.. cars handle better and stop faster than they did 50 years ago and that’s why so many people speed. If they raised the speed limit then most people wouldn’t be opposed to the stupid cameras.
