Why Va And Dc Are The Only States That Don’t Allow Speed Radar Detectors?

How come voters don’t turn this down and accept the ongoing entrapment of drivers?

Too many lawmakers reside in those two states.

A radar detector ticket was $110 after the court fees for me. However, the amount of money it saved me was far greater, and the benefit of a no radar detector law is that most cops don’t even use cobra (or dont have one) on you to find it, the radar guns are usually the easiest band to read, and in general they don’t expect people to have one and don’t do tricky speed trap things specifically to thwart radar detectors.
I only got caught cause the cop saw it and I simply didn’t notice the guy and wasn’t paying attention.

Because there are too many politicians that would get ticketed if they allowed it.
